Who's Megan?

Writer's picture: Terese SacramentoTerese Sacramento

Megan is a woman who overthinks a lot. She worries a lot. She loves a lot. She cares a lot. She feels a lot. She is a lot. She feels like an outsider even when she's surrounded by friends. She feels like an imposter, like she doesn't belong there, like she's so different than the others.

Megan is tired, she's actually exhausted. She's unsatisfied and stressed. She feels like something is missing, yet she can't put her finger on what that missing puzzle is. She feels trapped, like she's locked into a cage.

Megan wants to experience the same love she gives. She wants to be seen and appreciated for who she is.

She wishes for others to be there for her as she's there for them.

Megan needs peace within. She needs a safe space and calm environment to be able to grow into to that beautiful flower she is. She needs to feel free, free to be her, grow as her, and love as her.

What Megan doesn't know is that she doesn't know herself, and that's why she doesn't feel like she belong and why she feels so different while being at the wrong place.

Megan doesn't know that her empathy isn't her weakness, it's one of her strengths. She just need to learn how to use it in the right way.

She doesn't know that she's the one holding on to the key to that cage she's gotten herself locked into.

She forgets that she can keep and pour that love into herself, before she gives everything away, leaving her feeling empty, causing her trying to beg or chase the ones around her to pour back some of that love into her.

She is missing the point that for her to be loved for who she is, she needs to know who she is firstly, and show up as her too.

She forgets that others comes to her asking for help, but she doesn't ask for the help herself.

She has given away too much of her own power, causing her to miss out on the truth, that she has all the power within herself to create that peace within, the safe and calm space, the environment where she feels free to be her, grow and love as her.
