I too get tired

Sometimes we mistaken our wants and needs.

Sometimes we need what we don't want. Like a simple thing as rest. Some days you want to do many things, but your body and soul needs rest.

What many misses here, is that, if you listen and give yourself the rest you need, you'll be rewarded with new energy and will do the things more effectively after your rest. But many chooses to avoid the rest and do the things in much longer time.

When I was healing from my burnout, it took time before I realised that what I thought I needed to do, logically, wasn't what I needed mentally, physically or emotionally. I didn't understand that my wants here was actually my needs. I needed rest.

Often, we as women, are experiencing and feeling guilt and shame for wanting something for ourselves, and I'd say this increases the day you become a mom.

And for the woman who actually says and go for what she wants, is being called selfish, lazy, spoiled, rude, doesn't think about anyone else etc..

If you are serious about healing and making your dreams a reality, you need to learn how to overcome this. Choose yourself, support and encourage your sisters, the women around you, when you see them choosing themselves.

Allow yourself to have your guilt free, shameless, low energy days, lovely. Remember we as women have a 28 days (or more or less) cycle. Some days you'll have lots of energy, others less, others "regular" and when in phase one of burnout (rest and recovery phase) you'll feel like you're on zero or below.

If you pay attention, your intuition will tell you what you need, and lead the way. Learn how to work with your cycle.
